When I first saw this PAM 690 which is published by Panerai in 2016, my first thought was that's a really pretty watch.The beautiful blue dial just remind me of the deep sea. PAM 690 belongs to Radiomir 1940 series of Panerai, so it has the most authentic features of Radiomir. In a word, it's a Radiomir in a 47mm 1940 case with beautiful blue dial.The stainless steel case is very large which has the classic diameter of 47 mm. The case and bezel are polished, the PAM reference and OP number are engraved on the case between lugs. The blue dial with sandwich structure features the classic design with large hour-markers and the subsidiary small seconds dial at 9 o’clock.

The watch is powered by the P.3000 manual wind movement with 3 days of power reserve. It is very amazing to see the mechanism displaying of the PAM 690 through the case back.  With the Officine Panerai logo stamped into a beautiful tan leather, the  Assolutamente Ponte Vechio strap is durable and will become softer after being worn for several times. Plus, the strap color is perfectly in line with the color of luminescence applied on hands and markers.
